About
I am a clinical psychologist and member of the Order of Psychologists of Quebec. I obtained my doctoral degree in clinical psychology from McGill University, where my thesis focused on the protective role of self-compassion in eating disorders. I completed my clinical training in a variety of settings, including the Youth Service at the Jewish General Hospital, Eating Disorders Program at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute, the Obsessive Compulsive and Related Disorders Unit and the Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program at the McGill University Health Center. During my clinical training, I have worked with populations ranging from youth to adults.
My Approach
My therapeutic approach is integrative and draws on a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, as well as emotion-focused and psychodynamic approaches. I believe in the importance of tailoring therapy to the individual needs of the client to promote positive and meaningful change. My approach is warm, authentic, and non-judgmental. My goal in therapy is to help my clients gain insight regarding their difficulties and develop concrete tools and agency to overcome their struggles.
